Getting a Job at Madera County Library

 

Positions at the library are divided into two classes:

1. Professional librarian. This requires a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science, and experience in library work.

2. Office / Library Assistant. This requires you to take a Civil Service examination.

All persons hired by Madera County must pass a physical examination given by the Madera County Health Department.

You will be required to attend an interview.

All recruitment and hiring is done by Madera County's Human Resources Department, not by the library. All positions are advertised by the Human Resources Department.
