   Banker: b. Missouri, Dec. 8, 1869; [son of] Lyman and Sarah E. (Herlinger1) Osterhout; ed. public school in Missouri, 1875-1888; [married] in Oregon, 1899 [to] Della M. Perry2. Bookkeeper in small bank at Center, Mo., Jan 1894 to June, 1894; assistant cashier, Farber Bank, 1894-1900; cashier, 1900-1903; organized Reedley State Bank, Reedley, Calif., 1903; cashier until 1907; cashier, First National Bank, Madera3, Calif., 1907-1918; president and director since 1918. Member of executive board, California Bankers Association. Member Standing Committee of Madera County during war. Mason, Scottish Rite, Shriner, Eastern Star. Republican.
