Madera Schools Local History Project

Between 1936 and 1938, the schools of Madera County participated in a local history project. Students from each school were responsible for recording the history of their immediate district. Many of the reports were bound between masonite boards, which were then decorated with copper appliques. The reports are illustrated with photographs, drawings and maps.
